Think about the tumult of the last year (coronavirus pandemic, police shootings, BLM protests, storming of the capital, etc) and consider the challenges that face a new president to guide this country over the next 4 years. Choose a metaphor to represent our country's situation as Biden takes over. Thursday | On the right side of the table, pick a second character from the novel to analyze, again using specific evidence from the story. At the bottom of the table, consider the ways the characters are the same and different by predicting how you think the 9/11 terrorist attacks will impact them. Tuesday | On the left side of the table, pick one character to analyze from the novel. Please try to pick a different character than the one you analyzed in the Color, Symbol, Image thinking routine. Answer the following questions about the character:

Paragraph should include the name of the person you interviewed, how old they were on 9/11, where they were on 9/11, what they were doing on 9/11, what they remember feeling on 9/11 and then end with their thoughts now looking back on that day and how they feel/think differently today.
